ROSMY Co-hosts Candidates Forum!

mayor

Please join members, family and friends of Richmond’s gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community as we learn about how Richmond’s Mayoral candidates intend to respond to the issues and concerns of the GLBT community.

Don’t pass up this special opportunity to learn about where the candidate’s stand on issues of healthcare, crime and public safety, community building, and youth and family services.

Take the opportunity to submit some of your questions in advance to be randomly selected at the forum.  Submissions will be accepted on-line at www.equalityvirginia.org/forum.

Saturday, October 4th
Gay Community Center of Richmond
1407 Sherwood Avenue
10:00 AM

Organized by Equality Virginia, ROSMY, the Fan Free Clinic and the Gay Community Center of Richmond.

Open to the public.  A free brunch will served at 10 a.m. For information, call (804) 643-4816 or www.gayrichmond.com.

Windows to Richmond's Gay Community: Youth Art displayed at Art Works

Using windows as the structure for this exhibit, artists presented a group show incorporating their individual styles and mediums. The challenge was for each artist to use their work to inform and share their message and enlightenment of the gay community.

Brunch

Springtime in the Garden -- a brunch to benefit ROSMY was held on Sunday at the Valentine Richmond History Center. Sadly, it rained, but a good time was had by all (as far as we could tell)!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Brunch, and a special thanks to our Guest of Honor Chris Clarke and her friends and supporters who joined us.
